Coated paperboard build
The thick paperboard features a water-resistant surface coating that resists moisture during use. It holds a rigid shape in your hand so the channel stays open without collapsing or softening.

We built these single-use funnels from thick paperboard with a water-resistant coating so they hold shape without softening. Each one folds flat to ride in a jacket pocket or glove box. You pinch the sides to open the channel, direct the flow, and discard the piece when finished.

The thick paperboard features a water-resistant surface coating that resists moisture during use. It holds a rigid shape in your hand so the channel stays open without collapsing or softening.
We cut the top with a wide contour to seat closely against the body. The extended lower spout directs flow away from boots and clothing to prevent spills on the trail.
Each funnel comes individually flat and pops into shape with a light squeeze. Twelve units take up almost no room, slipping into a daypack side sleeve or a small pocket.
There is nothing to wash out at a trailhead sink. After use, the paperboard drops directly into your camp waste bag, keeping pack routines quick when water is scarce.
Pieces that ride along in the same trunk or pair with this one at camp.
